We did it! Yesterday we packed up the remainder of our little shop & brought it home to store in our much improved garage for the winter. Just as I was vacuuming up the tiny remnants left of 'Lambs & Ivy', the fog crested the mountain top & filled the street...talk about perfect timing!
I guess my question is...Now What??? lol You'd think I'd have a plan or somethin, right? But the answer to that one is, a great big NO.
I will wait, just a minute, & see what the fates have in store for me. I will create, I will clean, I will bake, I will junk, I will redecorate, I will blog, I will facebook, I will dream & we'll see.
So for now, I will glean my wisdom from Forrest Gump's Momma...
"Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get."
How very true... ;)
XOXO

Once the dust settles you'll find just what you've been looking for. Until then, I have no doubt you'll keep busy. Enjoy the 'in between' time you have now and do something you've always wanted to do for yourself. You deserve it!
I love that about life! You end up doing something you never even saw coming!
Oh it's so exciting to not know what is coming next! I still haven't found what I was looking for but it's been a blast trying to find it! Hope you feel the same.
Darling girl....you are so wise and wonderful. The fates indeed will inform you of what is available....the funny thing is we are all so busy and noisy in the hustle bustle of our everyday life that we don't hear their call.....I think your solitary drive gave you that intimate time with your hearts desire and soul's need....take this blessing time and soar...above all the everyday...and be immersed in you and yours and what is loved by you and that you adore. I am confident that you will be more than blessed....waiting on that just right chocolate. Life is yummy. The Olde Bagg
that was my mother's favorite quote. i am loving your blog more and more as the days go by. I am huge Jackson Browne fan and actually got to seem live at an outdoor concert in Ojai, CA a few years ago. I ran into him one time too when he was dating Daryl Hannah at a Mercedes Sosa concert in LA. Keep up the good vibes.
You'll find what you want to do when you least expect it... In the mean time, have fun living your life....
How beautiful that life has handed you this opportunity to rest and ponder and play and create and see what's next. How wonderful that you are embracing the gift. Can't wait to see what's next! and all the wonderful art created in the mean time :)
We are on much the same journey...I wish you only the best, my friend!

I'm really happy that I got to meet you in your now defunct store and I look forward to all of the fantastic things I will see on your blog as I log in daily.
