Waiting for Hummingbirds

Hi Sweetest of Friends...
I have to say, I just LOVE Summer in the Mountains.
Lazy days of sunshine & blue skies,
cool evenings & the soft sound of crickets...

& one of my favoritest things...Hummingbirds.
Sitting in the house with the windows & the front door open,
I can hear their wings as they fly in & out of the porch,
swirling around the feeders until they settle in for a drink.

Seems these days I'm feeling quiet,
feeling still,
feeling like I'm just waiting for hummingbirds.

XOXO

Aren't they the most amazing little creatures! I love watching them! You feeder is so pretty too! Do you still have your vintage camper? I'm looking at a 1966 Airstream!

It's no wonder the hummingbirds come to your porch--that feeder is gorgeous!

Adore your feeder, I always thought that the liquid had to be RED to attract them...apparently not.
They are lovely creatures indeed.
You have a very enjoyable life it appears......God is good.
I have joined your sweet blog...looking foward to more to come.
BTW...I had seen a new blog that you mentioned in "You might also like"... about 30 minutes ago it seemed...but don't see it now, can you tell me what the name of it is please. Forgot to write it down.

Love, Rose

Love your feeder. When Iwas in Nipomo I couldn't believe how many hummingbirds there was & how BIG they were. I hate it that we didn't get to come up to your part of the state but, I can tell you that I think we will be back for summers! BF loved the cool weather of the Central Coast! Hugs!
